For three generations the Viette family has been using only the finest gardening tools. They would like to offer you, the home gardener, the opportunity of owning these excellent tools to make your gardening easier.

The finest quality push-pull oscillating hoes.
André says, "This is our most important tool for maintaining 5 1/2 acres of garden in only 12 hours per week. This is the fastest weeding tool in the world."
The tempered steel blade is razor sharp and easily cuts through soil in the flower or vegetable garden as it dislodges weeds and cultivates without disturbing the mulch. The U-shaped blade is sharpened on both edges allowing the hoe to “cut” instead of pushing the soil. Swinging motion keeps the blade at the proper angle while continuously working the soil forward and backward. Comes in two head sizes with a 60" American ash wood handle.

This water sprinkler, seen all over Andre's gardens here at the nursery, has a solid brass and stainless steel impulse head with a diffuser screw to adjust your water from a 30' to an 85' diameter. It features the heaviest, sturdiest steel base and a 9/64 nozzle for a gentle, slow watering with no waste.
If you use above ground sprinklers, you should definitely try these.
"Viette-made" Water Sprinkler - $59.95 (plus tax and shipping if required)
Our sprinklers are not adjustable; they only go in a complete circle. Andre gave me the following explanation for this:
Our sprinkler is designed with a small nozzle (9/64 opening) so that it puts down less water per hour than most other sprinklers. This means it waters more slowly and thus the water you put on your lawn or garden has more time to seep into the ground and there is less water loss due to runoff. Many of the sprinklers on the market today are adjustable to water various parts of a full circle and rely on a kickback device to accomplish this. These sprinklers require a nozzle with a larger opening (thus more force) to trigger the kickback. These nozzles put down a lot more water per hour and you usually get more waste due to excessive runoff.
Our sprinklers do, however, have a screw-in diffuser to adjust the distance of the water throw.
