Lectures and Workshops are generally scheduled for Saturday afternoons at 1:30.

If you would like to schedule a private lecture and garden tour for your group, please give us a call!
We will be happy to work with you to arrange a wonderful morning or afternoon gardening adventure for your group! We can even suggest a great nearby lunch spot where you can relax and eat either before or after your visit to Viette's - or bring a box lunch and enjoy it in the gardens!

JUNE - June is Perennial Gardening Month

Saturday, June 22nd - 1:30pm

The Art of Creating Miniature Landscapes

A Hands-on Workshop.  

Join special guest Pam Shank of Landscapes in Miniature for wonderful workshop where you will learn to make whimsical miniature gardens by actually DOING it! During this hands-on workshop, participants will craft a miniature garden planter from start to finish, receive tips and complete instructions, and will take home their completed planter at the end of the workshop. 

We'll have pots for you to plant and create your miniature garden or bring your own favorite container to plant! 

This is a messy workshop - we will be playing in the dirt - dress accordingly, please.

Fee includes all materials and instruction to create your own miniature garden.

JULY - July is Daylily Month

The Daylily - One of the Easiest Perennials to Grow

Learn why the daylily is described as the "perfect perennial". Mark will discuss the best varieties for your garden and how to incorporate daylilies into an existing garden.
